Remanufacturing Plant

Remanufacturing offers big advantages for customers, lower cost for the same quality, reduced idle time, and waste reduction.

The Remanufacturing Plant of Komatsu Indonesia, widely known as Reman KBN, was initially established on January 18th, 2007, in KBN Area, Cakung, North Jakarta. The plant serves as the global reman product supplier of Komatsu and serves as the component remanufacturing plant. Reman KBN produces high quality and reliable remanufacturing products of main components such as engine, power modules assy, transmission assy, and piston motor pump and is also supported fully by testing, measuring, and machining facilities.

In 2010, Komatsu Indonesia built the Cylinder Reman Plant at Cibitung Plant in MM2100 Industrial Estate Cibitung, West Java, where the plant is focused on remanufacturing used cylinder components obtained from customers. Besides Cibitung, Komatsu Indonesia also established Cylinder Reman in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.
